During the second visit, about 2 to 3 working days from tooth impression taking, the porcelain veneers are placed on teeth. If all is well, the dental veneers are permanently glued on. If otherwise, the porcelain veneers are sent back to the dental laboratories for any changes to be fixed on a separate visit. A final visit is made for a re-check and adjustment.

IPS Empress Veneers

Lumineers

Lumineers are ultra-thin wafer shells following the same concept of conventional porcelain veneers in resolving irregularities in teeth. Lumineers are sent to an overseas dental laboratory in having the wafer shells made. In certain types of cases, lumineers do not require shots or drilling of tooth structure. In most other cases, lumineers follow the same process as porcelain veneers whereby some form of tooth preparation is required.
